Typical Service Options

SAE offers a number of core investigative services to collect and analyze raw field and location data thereby providing the means to quickly assess and evaluate potential problems, or comply with regulatory requirements. Good data is essential to understanding and correcting problems and deficiencies efficiently and cost-effectively, and can include:

• Grounding audits

• GPR (Ground Potential Rise) studies

• Step and Touch studies

• System resistance (R-value) testing

• Soils resistivity testing and measurement

• Forensic analysis

• Feasibility studies

• Noise performance measurement

• Electromagnetic Field (EMF) radiation testing

• Other studies and audits as may be required to identify and qualify client issues

Deliverables

The deliverable for each of these SAE services is a comprehensive report covering the findings, including:

• An overview of the work undertaken

• The data collected, along with a description of pertinent test procedures or equipment used

• An analysis of the data collected and its significance

• Recommendations for corrective action or further investigation

Where multiple services are provided under a single contract, all findings will be consolidated into a single final report.

Where the final conclusions and recommendations indicate that major work is needed, especially to correct a safety issue, the results can be incorporated into a project development exercise that will provide greater overall visibility and confidence levels into the solutions required and the precise steps to cost effectively achieve them.
